StartCompany.ie turns the information supplied by a founder into an Irish LTD incorporation filing and document pack. The work begins before Form A1 is submitted: the officers, registered office, shares, identity route and director residence must fit Irish requirements.
This process guide explains what we handle, what information the customer must provide and which decisions remain with the CRO, Revenue, banks or specialist advisers.
Formation in four stages
Choose the correct package, provide complete company details, let StartCompany.ie prepare and submit the incorporation, then complete the RBO, tax, banking and annual-return steps that apply after approval.
1. Choose the Formation Route
The package should match the company's facts. Basic covers a straightforward formation. Standard adds IPN and first-return support. Premium adds registered office, RBO and broader first-year support. Non-Resident includes the Section 137 bond route.
Selecting by director residence, identity needs and address requirements prevents an application from being built around the wrong service scope.
2. Supply the Company Details
StartCompany.ie needs the proposed name, principal activity, registered office, directors, secretary, shareholders and share structure. Personal details must match the identity information used for CRO purposes.
If a corporate shareholder is involved, prepare current registry records, constitutional information, signing authority and a clear chain to the ultimate beneficial owners.
- Proposed company name and alternatives.
- Business activity and trading description.
- Irish registered office address.
- Director and secretary details.
- Shareholders, share classes and allocation.
- PPSN or applicable IPN identity information.
3. Prepare and Submit the CRO Formation
The filing records the company and officer details, issued shares, subscribers and activity, together with the LTD constitution. StartCompany.ie prepares the incorporation materials within the selected package and submits the application to the CRO.
The CRO decides whether the application and company name are accepted. A query or correction can affect timing, so a specific incorporation date should not be promised before approval.
4. Receive and Organise the Company Documents
After incorporation, the core package provides the Certificate of Incorporation, constitution and share certificates. Additional officer schedules, booklets and first board minutes depend on the selected package.
The documents should be reviewed and stored with the company's statutory, banking, tax and accounting records. They are evidence of formation, but they do not complete every post-incorporation duty.
5. Complete the Post-Incorporation Work
Most new companies should address beneficial ownership, Revenue registration, business banking, accounting records and the first annual return. StartCompany.ie packages include selected parts of this work, while others remain separate.
The first RBO deadline and Annual Return Date arrive quickly. Planning them during formation is more reliable than treating them as distant administration.
What StartCompany.ie Cannot Decide for You
Founders remain responsible for commercial decisions, truthful information, director duties and professional advice on tax, contracts, employment, licensing and regulated activity. StartCompany.ie does not guarantee a company name, bank account, tax registration or business outcome.
The service is most effective when formation work and specialist advice are coordinated around the same ownership and operating plan.
