What is a Company Seal?

A company seal (also known as a common seal) is an embossing device that imprints the company's name and registration number onto documents. While the Companies Act 2014 no longer requires Irish companies to have a seal, many companies still use one for executing deeds, contracts, and other formal documents.

What You Receive

We will produce a high-quality embossing seal engraved with your company's registered name and CRO company number. The seal will be delivered to your registered address or an alternative address of your choosing.

Important Notes

If your company's constitution provides for the use of a seal, the affixing of the seal must be witnessed by a director and the company secretary (or a second director). We recommend checking your company's constitution for specific provisions regarding the use of the company seal.
